why the hippies who left San Francisco in the 70s for the Oregon state to set up hippy communes and become future Antifa types. I'm glad the strong liberal went into Oregon. which must have been a huge cultural shock for the Oregonian Cowboy types that were the original Euro settlers. The irony is Oregon people who mostly are the children of the great hippy-flight for Oregon still hate Californian's to this day. no one likes people from California. not even former Californians who now live in Oregon and Idaho. Nevada and maybe Arizona is the only state a Californian call move to without getting some shitty feedback "Go back home".
I find it amazing that even back then, they could figure out the length and direction of a radio signal that was proof enough to make it to newspapers
