    First of all, the pacing is unbelievably good. There is zero "fat" on this show. Secondly, the writing is excellent beyond my expectations. It is unabashedly ridiculous but it's still self aware about the silly 80s movie bullshit the main characters keep echoing. And they are doing an incredible job of character development. There are basically no one dimensionally written characters, they are very believable and fleshed out.
