The following year he gained more notriety when he covered the NoNATO protests in Chicago during the 2012 Chicago Summit between the NATO heads of state. In 2013 he joined VICE, a heavy left leaning media platform, producing and hosting content as well as developing new methods of reporting. In April of the year he recieved the Shorty Award. Another Shorty Award winner who I am sure is one of your heros is Greta Thuneberg. He ended 2013 by live streaminng mass protests in Ukraine which (the protests) led to collapse of Yanukovych government. n 2014, he joined Fusion TV (a subsideary of Univision Communications) as Director of Media innovation and Senior Correspondent. In 2017 He woke up when nn February 2017, Pool traveled to Sweden to investigate right-wing claims of "no-go zones" and problems with refugees in the country. He went there claiming the migrant suburbs of Malmö and Stockholm were safer than Chicago. He admits that he had to be escorted out by police after recieving threats to his life in the no-go zones.
