Did anyone ever feel the desire to buy a USB floppy disk drive?

Even when they came out they were ridiculous.

I've got a couple, used them all the time. Also converted one into a mini 1541 disk drive by housing it in a 3D printed C64 disk drive case to use with my "thec64" recreated Commodore 64.

I remember playing that Larry game when I was younger and feeling a little sense of being naughty. Idk.

They were pretty useful in that you could download things at the library and be able to take that data back home.

Never felt the need to, although i did write a bootloader the other day and compiled it, saved it to floppy format.
