i have 2 sets of underwear. one for work/out and one for home.
the one i wear out i wash it daily if i was sweaty or a few more times again if i wasnt.
the one i wear for home that i put on after i shower and before i go out or go to work i could wear it for a week or more until it got oily.

I never understand these really hyper-clean freaks and germaphobes. I mean obvious nobody should want to be dirty to the point of stinking and all nasty and that, it just socially puts you at a disadvantage when nobody wants to be near you. but the fact is we are our environment. This earth formed and produced life, of which we are an inherent part of it. we are the earth and the earth is us, and everything in it. there are literally hundreds of trillions of bacteria just in our guts, most of which is very helpful to us, we literally live a kind of symbiotic relationship with that bacteria, it enables us to digest our food. our food is other creatures and plants, we consume them and they become part of us and often the bacteria they contain we will also digest and it will become part of us. Being germaphobic is retarded. For starters its not taking into consideration that there are many different types of germs, viruses and bacteria, the majority of which do us no harm what so ever and some are even beneficial to us.
Also just being too clean isn't that good for you either. Especially if you are using chemicals constantly to wash with, by which I mean soaps, detergents, shower gels, shampoos, deodorants and any other grooming products. The skin was never designed for this, you are not keeping your skin very healthy using them, especially to excess. People are always surprised when I tell them my age, they always say I don't look that old. And for years I've never used soap on my face except when I've wet shaved which is not often in the last 20 odd years, I just use clippers. Other than that the only chemicals I allow on my face is when I wash my hair I let the shampoo run down my face as I rinse my hair out. And I've never been one for sunbathing either, mainly because I burn easily but I have no interest in being tanned. I mean I'm not a particularly vain person anyway. But its served me well using mostly just water to rinse my face clean. The skin on my face is in pretty good shape considering I'm staring 50 right in the face.
Those chemicals just no good, they strip the skins natural oils and mess with the skins ph balances. That's a big deal for your skins health and well being. Especially doing it repeatedly over years, the skin can't take it. I would bet it plays a big part in skin cancers an all.

Showering 2 times a day isnt hyperclean, its normal. You're just dirty and probably have poor hygiene. I don't care about the ins and outs. I understand about the ph balances and natural oils on our skin but why would you want to be a stinker in public? I haven't had a problem with my skin so much and I seem to be doing well with the bitches and my hansum looks.
And I didn't know you were 50, of course I've gone a day or 2 without showering but only if staying at home

While were on this unexpected topic, i have a legitimate question. I read articles by dermatologists that you should not use soap in the shower (except for hands and privates) because it removes the natural oil and causes problems down the road. is this true? If so, is there an alternative soap to use?
