I checked with a coworker to make sure I would be able to get to work.
He said yes too.
Now I just have to figure out when I want to start and after a fee weeks find a way to slip out of manufacturing and go work in shipping where it is much nicer and the work is easy. -

Yes, I can go to whatever shift I want and switch again whenever I want.

2020-06-03 at 4:01 AM UTCAnyways, my night went really good. It got better when the temperature started to drop after sundown.
The ice machine wasn't broken either so we even had ice cold water at our disposal.
I started out on a mission to clean and I got pretty dirty doing it.
As the senior operator (can't wait to hear hella on that but it is true) I know a lot more about the machines than the rest of the operators and I know parts of it to clean that they wouldn't usually touch.
I mean is it so hard to imagine me doing decent at a job?

Oh but anyways yeah, I cleaned up a bunch of loose plastic pellets and wiped up a bunch of grease. Changed a bunch of buckets out that catch leaks from the machines. At one point I even took the shopvac and was sweeping the top of one of the machines. I then got a bunch of cleaner and rags and got down on my hands and knees and cleaned off one of the platforms that was all greasy and dangerous.
I don't mind getting my hands dirty. My rule is I won't ask someone to do something I won't do so I make it a point to do what I'd like others to do. but anyways... yeah I kept cleaning for like 5 hours and then I covered machines for breaks and lunch. Helped install a mold and then around 10 I ran a machine for an hour. We had just got it cleaned up and had to make sure it was up and running for 3rd when they came in. It was 88 degrees outside but inside with all them hot ass machine it was easily 100 degrees. The only reason it isn't so bad is because the sun isn't beating down on you. And whenever I am up in the air you can just at an extra 10-20 degrees.
So yeah, I got a lot done and feel good about it. Everyone was nice when I was interacting with them and I had a good day.
Now I am home and juming in the shower.
After I degrease myself Imma make me something to eat and kick my feet up while I watch stuff on my 55 inch plasma screen.
I hope everyone else had a great and hater free day.
