So what's wrong with using drugs occasionally? Why strive to be sober? It's really such a western puritan concept. Europeans spread it just like they spread homophobia. Russia probably wouldn't be homophobic if it weren't for Christian missionaries in the 1500's. There was one who wrote of being 'appalled' at the openness at which gays expressed themselves. Slowly the influence of their religion grew, the aristocracy started speaking French instead of Russian, and the country eventually became a bastion for anti-gay bigotry. Not very Russian.

Christianity is really one of the worst things ever to happen to the world. It facilitated so much evil. Other religions haven't been as influential or harmful except for maybe Islam.

    * Never said it should be illegal.
    * Our ancestors did natural shit, not artificially-made chemicals like meth and heroin which are too addictive to use responsibly.
    * Wasnt Russia christian way before 1500?

They require a higher spiritual fortitude, it is a product of modern technology and to understand it you have to have a knowledge of drug chemistry. Most people in the world can identify a lot of drugs and know which ones are stimulants, depressants, hallucinogens, etc. It takes a lot of experience and knowledge to understand how the drugs affect you. I think before you take anything like cocaine and heroin you should do a lot of research and appreciate how potent they can be.

I've never really had a problem with either of those substances. It's very easy to go overboard which is just the nature of the drug. People say they don't ever go near it because they've seen peoples lives ruined because of it. That fear is very real, but it's just a chemical compound. It can't do anything except just sit there until someone takes it.

he didnt cared about all that.

his main point of contention is that russiams and christians are homophobic, and have been describing him and his (alternative) lifestyle derogatively.

Drugs are tools for the awakened. Most people are not mentally strong enough to handle a comedown, bad trip or addiction.

Everything in life is a lesson, most people experience these things without learning anything. All experience is valuable so if you can go into these with the proper mindset you will come out with knowledge most people don't have.

ITT: Nobody has been to alternate dimensions or seen the celestial insignificance of our human existence for themselves.

Then they wonder why they are pissed off in traffic while I'm sitting here thinking of how great it is to be alive. Ever since a DOM trip years ago I now see colors in HD.

True but it doesnt change the fact that the majority control the reality of life and 99.9% of people will do it without the proper mindset, wreaking much collateral damage during their misguided attempts to lighten up their depressing life.
