Oculus is allegedly working on a new Rift and you know there will be a new PSVR hmd with the PS5.
The current generation is high res,enough that it's usable.
You have no clue how low res and crappy everything looked in the DK1, but the novelty made it worthwhile.
I assume this coming generation will see the elimination of any noticeable screen door effect.
It's very exciting, this decade will see the true realization of virtual reality.
Holy shit it would be so awesome to have VR gta and Elder Scrolls. -
2020-04-27 at 4:32 AM UTCIt always felt like a gimmick to me anyway, I hate the dedicated controls and would prefer to use a gamepad or even keyboard.
The only game I really liked playing in VR was Elite Dangerous and it felt difficult to play for more than an hour or so -
