Downloaded this one yesterday. Never played it before, but I like fallout.

    Any tips?

Is there a level cap or anything I need to worry about? I want to make a sneaky character, but I've been using the axe more than a dagger and I'm worried that he will get too good at axe fighting and not be a good thief.

it's fun the first time because you get to explore, but it's super bland as an rpg, and the main quest ending is fucking gay, and really out of place and poorly done.

IMO about the easiest and most fun class is a stealth archer. Sneak around in light armour (glass is good) and shoot people with an enchanted bow. I presume you have the addons. You can forge really great bows that kill about anything in 2 or 3 shots. Magic isn't even really worthwhile apart from restoration spells to make your health back.

If you need to cheat, google Skyrim Chest - they are glitches that give you access to merchants inventories - the one in Dawnstar is about the easiest.

if you need to cheat in skyrim, you really suck. but if you need to cheat, you should do it the right way: laying something on your keyboard to make your character sneak up to level 100 near the bear in the orientation level.

Better to get to alvors house and sneak attack the invulnerable npcs, levels quicker.

What are some of the best quest lines?

i remember most of them being pretty samey, but there's one that takes you to oblivion in sheogoraths realm and it's pretty wacky.

There’s a couple really good mods that add over a hundred voiced NPCs and dozens of professional-quality quests

Be very careful only to add top rated ones, they can cut your framerate in half and make your game unable to launch.

To be fair if you can't launch it with mods then you've saved yourself some trouble, base game is a pile of steamy, creamy dog shit.

and mods don't actually make it any better. they just break it. the only thing mods offer is the amusement of looking them up and installing them.

    Should I get a horse?

yeah, because fast travel is gay and breaks the game.

    Very true.

Whenever you want to explore the map in depth, a horse doesn't hurt. However just walking the paths between towns is fairly adventure packed without a horse.
