its rather easy to manipulate chinamen who are always eager to prove themselves to the world and especially to their white masters into performing all these "advanced"
and dangerous researches where whitemen themselves couldnt, due to reasons, and then use the results of these chinamens research against themselves.
nobody can convincingly explain why the second most affected country turned out to be iran, which up until then have had very little contact with china be it political, economic or cultural.
