    Quite right too, simply because a property is vacant doesn't give anyone the right to use it, if the owner wants to leave it unused he can do what the hell he likes, it's his....what next? It's ok to steal my car because it wasn't being driven over night?

    Starting or ending it still requires all participants to be in agreement...a squatter does not have the agreement of the property owner...so the ride sharing thing isn't relevant.

    Now if the property owner had given permission...then the nig wouldn't be a squatter.

    He doesn't need some random nigs permission to use his own property. Anyway simply because no one is living in it doesn't mean he's not using it...he could be using it to store a toenail clipping or a wet towel on the bathroom floor as some sort of science experiment.

    Squatting is a civil matter. If you feel like a house belongs to you, and wish to evict the occupier, then that is a matter for the courts to decide - not the cops. Hope you have your paperwork in order, a couple thousand dollars, and about 6 months to spare before you begin, lol

    "In Texas, a squatter must possess the property continuously for a period of 10 years before they can make an adverse possession claim"

    Hell if you are late on your rent here for 3 days they can evict you.

    "Once the landlord gives the tenant a notice to vacate, the tenant has three days to pay the rent (if the landlord has given the tenant that option) or leave the rental property. The three days begin on the date the notice is delivered to the tenant."

    We also have that "Stand your ground" law here in Sunny Tejas...if you went to your empty house and someone was in there, you can go ahead and shoot them (and then put a kitchen knife near the body just to cover all bases).

    If the tenant doesn't make his identity known to the landlord how can the landlord prove that the property is his? You could be kicking an innocent person out of his house. That is why procedures must be followed.

    Which means court, a couple thousand dollars and around 6 months.
