The highest mountain probably isn't Denver since it's a valley floor and it's only a Mile up because it's in the middle of the countries' rocky's.
certainly Boulder or some other place is 2-3 miles up. the tallest mountain in Colorado is probably what 15,000 feet? so 3 miles up or just under.
