Soi you know that impeachment and removal from office are 2 different things, right? He will be impeached in the Democratically controlled Congress. What remains to be seen is what the Senate will do. Likely they won’t remove him, it’s controlled by the Republicans. It’d be nice to see the Republicans grow some balls, but highly unlikely.

Hate’s a pretty strong word. Many of those senators and congressman/woman have friends they’ve worked with on both sides of the fence for many years. I guarantee you they don’t hate each other. There used to be a time when the two parties at least tried to compromise with each other. At the beginning of the Nixon impeachment hearings he was fiercely backed by the republicans; then as more damming evidence came to light, they knew they had to jump ship or ruin their careers.
What's more interesting is Trump changing US foreign policy to indicate that they now consider israeli settlements legal under international law which is... bizarre

Politics is satire. Israel will continue doing what its been doing regardless of what the outcome of the current domestic political situation is. The military ultimately decides what to do on the geopolitical stage, and all these politicians mostly cater to the perceived needs of the citizens, who are very diverse. Since they are very diverse, its hard to get enough votes in parliament for any one candidate.
