And it is an interesting tradition because it takes so much courage and bravery to do it. I mean you have to be totally mentally prepared and it is a whole ritual. Imagine going through a whole ritual and doing this act without turning a hair or a grin, how difficult it is. It was a way to restore honour even doing things totally unacceptable in Japanese society or against the norms or betrayal. it was only through this act one could restore honour fully.
But imagine if modern US society with so much focus on crime, criminals, repentance, victims, etc. had this for people as a way to go out with honour. All those people who commit suicides due to being found out to be kiddy porn addicts or those accused of sex crimes or drug addicts who have been leeching off their families their whole lives for instance. Imagine if they had a way out to not be seen as for instance a convict, ex con or sex offender but someone with even more prestige or honour than your average person due to having went through before death everyone else would find unfathomable and would either cry or scream or run away during such a ritual or something.
I mean the US uses shame and victim impact statements in court and media shame etc. to destroy someone to make them feel like they never had honour to begin with. If it had such a practice it would eliminate this and even the need for this shaming. Dont you guys think there is a lot that modern US society can learn from Japanese society pre ww2? This takes me back to the age-long question: is it better to live with shame as some sort of an offender label or die with honour? I mean I obviously was lucky to have a way out through deportation but it still makes me wonder.

Japanese are the strongest race on the planet, perhaps in the entire multiverse.
What has happened to them in recent times is a travesty and is completely 100% due to jewish subversion.
If they have any soul left the liberals and leftists there would buy swords off amazon and kill themselves, leaving only masculine and traditionalist Japanese men left, then they can impregnate the women and rebuild Japanese society.

I learned recently how the US literally had university jedis come in and write the most pozzed constitution imaginable for japan after their surrender.

Hiki, you should really get the latest modern remake of age of empires 2. It has the japanese and so many new civilization plus the game itself is like a history lesson as you go through all the csmpaigns it offers.
