They been getting bad press for eliminating greeter jobs just like they did his. Lots of especially old people have no interest in learning to use a computerized touch-screen POS system. Poor Don

The ironic part is Don isn't even really 98.

They rolled back Don and probably gave him a crummier schedule. I'll always be a blue collar like Don

When a greeter asks to see a receipt, simply ignore them and keep walking out. When they run up alongside and start being stern and loud and authoritative, don't even look at them. Just keep walking. When they jump up on top of you and try and tear the bag out of your hand, simply drag them all the way to your car, get in, leaving them hanging and latched onto your hip and drive away slowly with the door open. Enter a major freeway with a minimum speed limit of 60mph. Once door is cleared, close door. Carry on with your day as if nothing happened.

I would give up half a days pay to watch 98 year old Don, get you in a one arm choke hold and using his entire weight hanging off your panicked fleeing body while Robert the large frame security guy and Mike the cart mule operator tackle you until you black out.
Leaving a letter on your chest saying, "were sorry, you must be hard of hearing yet we saw you in fact had your receipt crumpled in your hand". As you wake up with no one around you except some out of work Salvadorians asking you if you need any construction hands.
