I agree, but some style is better translated visually; most notably something like Pulp Fiction; a very sweet mesh of music, prose and aesthetic that most didn't even know they loved until they experienced it.

Cutting yourself off from other forms of art or storytelling seems ignorant to a point; and to preach such bullshit is more a symptom of pseudo-intellectualism, so my condolences.

Jesse getting kidnapped and tortured and kept locked in that underground cell for months and months tore my heart out. Especially when they shot andrea in front of him. I've never felt that bad for a character before.

I bet a lot of you can relate with him (The young IT guy). he was only "trolling".

I love how he sings to the song by the Motels. That made me like it that much more. "What are words for.."

Me illegally taken to county by a reckless madman of a police officer who unstrapped my seat belt reminds me of this scene of being bounced around in the back of the car. the day after he took me to county, he had to do a week of driving safety course. I know this because they told me this when I requested to get my bootcast back from him that he left in his trunk. 1200 dollar bootcast. CRAZY FUCK didn't have it.

This film is little known by most (it's a Martin Scorsese).. especially younger.. it's a cult classic.

After Hours should never ever be remade or the person who remakes it is a master of shit.
