2019-10-16 at 9:13 PM UTCGlad I've never owned one. If I do it'll definitely be electric and I'll never have any mechanic work on it.

Keep the car balanced. I usually try to replace the two front and two rear tyres together.DId you notice that it was flat before you drove more with it?
It went flat on the way, and I heard a noise from it just as I was arriving at the hospital (I had an appointment for an echo, and was late).Do you not keep a bicycle pump in your car?
I have a 12v electric pump and 2 or 3 fix-my-flats, but I didn't use the fix-my-flats. As I was in town I just pumped the wheel up, and since it was obvious that the tyre was completely fucked I just drove to a nearby tyre place without repairing the puncture.
The tyre was getting soft by the time I arrived. -

if you really want balance then you need to replace all 4.
a new front pair coupled with an old rear pair will only cause your car to pitch backward and causing it to nose up, creating more drag and possibly lift at high rate of speed.
you wont feel it, but its not balanced. -

2019-10-17 at 4:49 PM UTCWhy are you fucking cars anyway? That's kind of weird. And it shouldn't cost any money so its double weird if you're paying to do it. It better at the very least swallow your load.

2019-10-21 at 11:31 PM UTCcompany car was about the only reason I took this job; without it the pay is significantly lower than the last few places I worked

I do end up doing a fair bit of driving most days but I take it home and use it whenever, get fuel + maintenance + tolls and shit paid for. if I had my own car they would've only reimbursed me for petrol, and probably only the petrol I used explicitly on the job -
