Bill Krozby: I did forget about your shoegaze thread on rdfrn, sorry. Either way, I like Nothing! They sound dope. To my surprise, it looks like I listened to three songs of theirs, according to my lastfm stats. In 2014! That makes sense, that I forgot about it, because I didn't get into shoegaze until April 2015.
I know Ringo Deathstarr, I like them.. but my favorite shoegaze band is LSD & The Search for God. Well, they're one of my favorites. Other favorites include, but are not limited to, Whirr and Beach House
Yeah, Tom Delonge believes in aliens and stuff... I mean he even sings about it on Enema Of The State. As much as I liked Tom's work with blink, he wanted to push them into an alternative rock area, which isn't what blink is supposed to be imo. This is evidented by Neighborhoods... while the songs are decent, they lack the catchiness of their previous albums, aside from the song MH.4.17.2011 or something. He wanted to go even further with the next album, making them sound like Coldplay, like Travis Barker had said in an interview a couple of months ago.. so I'm glad Tom is no longer in the band. I'd say you should see them anyway if you are able to afford it.
did you check out blinks ep after neighborhoods. dogs eating dogs? that was actually pretty good, except for the song pretty lil girl because they had yellow wolf rapping in it. on youtube someone cut his part out

You're right! But if you were to ask me to name any shitty shoegaze bands, I wouldn't be able to tell you. And you're right, she's cute. How do you even have them? Did you seduce her?

American Football released their second LP since 17 years! What do you guys think? I wasn't a big fan of the vocals, but instrumentally I adored it. Now the vocals have grown on me and I appreciate the record more. What do you guys think?
Oh man, wish I could. I happened across them when I was looking up some info on them. They had a gig in Amsterdam, I think.. Well, somewhere in Holland anyway. Turns out the gig was kind of shitty because of all kinds of technical defects. Singer got pissed off and hurled his beer can into the audience out of frustration, striking a fan roight in the kissah. Then, on some forum, I found those images.
About a year ago, I got the chance to see Slowdive. Never thought I'd ever get the chance, them being split up yeeeaaars ago. Fuck, that was probably one of the best shows I've seen, ever. Loved it.
