    1. The autism thing is not entirely negative; a lot of European social or cultural achievements were the result of autistic levels of singular focus that seem uncharacteristic for other races.

    2. The dissolution of family ties I think is more a problem of modernity than racial - it seems to come as the result of a bunch of different factors related to humans adapting to this 'first world, capitalist, democratic' society - as other races and cultures are folded in, I can almost guarantee we'll see the same patterns there.

    The autism contribution is fascinating to me. A friend and I were discussing it the other day and I really started to wonder how much it has played a roll in every achievement going back to early humans.
