ITT: Post upcoming live shows you're planning on going to and shows you've recently been to.
I just got back from seeing toe live, was one of the best live shows I've ever seen. The percussion has always been a highlight but it was even better live, different mix, the guitars were a but fuzzier which made for some really interesting moments of almost churny sound and the rhythm section stood out more as a result. I was also blown away by how much improvisation there was in the set, all the tracks were recognizable but they went off in totally new (to me, having only heard recordings before, at least) directions.
DAD'S are playing on tuesday, tickets are cheap so I'm going to turn up to that. I like their music but I'm not nuts over it, still it's a fun tuesday outing, might take someone along, we'll see.

I got pretty canned last night and watched some o.a.r. sounding band at a local brewery. I don't remember their name I do remember yelling at them to play freebird thinking it was funny and the lead singer laughed and said fuck you. It was all in good fun. Tool is playing in Minneapolis soon and I'd like to attend but I probably won't be able to afford to. We'll see.

i didnt know what happened and thought someone spilled a water bottle because we were both stoned af then some girl was like "umm your gf just got thrown up on"
