I'm far from clueless or senile, kid. For example, math is one of my specialties. Practical math. I know how far it is across a river without having to cross it. I can also tell how tall a tree is without having to climb it. Do you know how to do that?

It's a simple matter, when you know that if one corner of a triangle is 90 degrees, the remaining two corners must be 45 degrees each, and that two sides are equal in length. If I was senile, do really think I would be able to solve this problem this way? And yet I can.

a squared plus b squared=c squared yeah we did that in junior high, you're regressing spectral and that has nothing to do with a river

spectral you have absolutely lost it, if you ever had it in the first place. You cannot tell exactly how tall a tree is or how wide a river is just by looking at it and even if you could you're still senile and have an extremely tenuous grip on reality

Saudis are terrible people. The Saudis I've met personally are absolutely reprehensible as well and the Muslims I know all hate jedis and Saudis.

Allah loves Saudis, he gave them oil.

Sure I can. If I'm standing on this side of the river and the tree on the other side is directly ahead, that's my 90 degree. I make an X in the dirt. I then step sideways from that point, using a compass, until the tree is 45 degrees and make another X in the dirt. Then I measure the distance between the two X's. The distance between the two X's is the same distance from the first X and the tree on the other side.

so this is what you're going to do to prove you're not senile? Please record a video of you doing this

So you can take mathematical steps to determine measurements. You cant just simply look at a tree and KNOW . It's still cool but at least dont mislead .

If I'm standing at the bottom of a tree, the base of the tree is by 90 degree corner. I back up until I'm looking 45 degrees to the top of the tree. The distance from the base of the tree to where I am now standing is the same distance from the bottom of the tree to the top of the tree. I measure that distance and I know how tall the tree is without having to climb it. If I really was senile, could I even figure that out?

spectral, the fact that you're trying to use a2+b2=c2: boy scout version to somehow show you're not senile is grounds for having you committed but you dont have anyone to look after you or really much of a pension so it's just sad. It's clearly a sore spot for you since you know you need to be committed but can't afford it, or have anyone to put you up to it. You don't drive though so that's good you're not a danger to your community by way of anything but your lecherous ogglings at the local school kids

I'll have you know I have more than enough to commit myself.
