It just irritates me how when collectivization was happening all the farmers owned a few acres of land each with fences dividing property and the soviet soldiers came in and forced everyone at gunpoint to rip up all the fences and throw away their farm tools. All of it got sent to the factory and turned into steel farm machinery
All the land was made into a single community field where everyone used the new machines provided by the state and the grain was for everyone, the people in the cities who made these machines needed a lot of grain and they needed to export grain for technology
This meant less bread for the individual but more bread for all the people.
The Kulaks reacted to this by burying their grain, it was so bad that they had to send soliders to each farm with shovels digging around looking for burying grain and if they found it you were shot for stealing from the people
I just cant imagine how greedy some people are. You might not agree with communism, i'm not even communist but it just seems very wrong to me to do that.
They broke the law. Instead of helping their country they helped themselves and thats just sad, fuck the kulaks.
