It’s where everyone is afraid to speak their mind because people will no longer support their brand and give them jobs
It’s mostly celebrities..once they do or say something “wrong” that pisses off a certain demographic they have to immediately issue an apology or they’ll get “cancelled”
Celebs mainly are the ones walking on thin ice because of Cancel Culture
Not sure where the term came from but you’ll hear people say “ohh he said he doesn’t support the (whatever).. he’s canceled Not watching his show or supporting his brand

But people get canceled for almost anything which leads to lots of fake outrage on social media .. people pretending to care about stuff they know they don’t just to cancel someone
