Cheating

If you're in a relationship with someone who's highly abusive and you cheat on them out of anger, did the person who cheated do something unethical?

I keep on wondering if the girl who cheated on me was doing something wrong, since I intentionally abused her constantly and convinced her that I was cheating on her. Yet i still feel very hurt by this and i cant tell if she's still a bad person for doing that to me

LOL, this has to be a troll! If this seriously did happen and your asking a serious question, I think it takes a lot of ballz to question if your ex is unethical and a bad person for revenge cheating when you admit you intentionally highly abusive to her and convinced her you were cheating on her. She shouldn't have cheated for revenge instead she should have kicked your ass to the curb at the first sign of abuse

I don't think it is unethical at all. In the social construct of a monogamous relationship, someone not getting what they need from the other person forces them to seek others. If they told them they loved them and meant it it's cheating though

What if the abuse was the only way to get through to her and help her LEARN? lol Sometimes the best way and only way to help someone is with a powerful backhand, repeatedly and repeatedly if necessary. As long as it's done out of love, of course.
