If this is true, you of all people know you have to seek medical attention. Kid came in the ER with a huge crater in his skin just above his knee, from a brown recluse in southern Ohio. He was beginning to have difficulty breathing, he was admitted and died the next day. So uhhh, watch it closely.

I was bit on the foot by a black widow .. it felt like a nibble and I looked down and I felt stomach pains after about 5-10 minutes.
didn't know if it was the spider or me panicking. I took a nap and felt fine but the toe burns and had a reddish bullseye that turned black and the skin died.
unlike other poisons that you can get used to, Black widow bites get worse each time. you get sicker. Or so they say
as for snakes, I used to handle rattle snakes on a trail. I used to be afraid of them but found a backpack with water bottles makes a great shield. You let it bite the back pack a few times, it gets bored and slithers off.
