I am profoundly dissatisfied with my knife

2019-08-28 at 12:28 PM UTCI currently have a little folder on my keychain that is going blunt and the little chain does not stay on 5ight any more. What's a good keychain knife? I was thinking of a tiny Swiss army knife.

It's always on me without fail if I leave the house, since it is attached to my keys. I have a Leatherman that I keep in my glove box. There are 100000000 different situations where a knife is useful but I've only needed a multitool in niche situations because I'm not a labourer or whatever NB so it makes sense to just keep a light cutting implement on my keys. -

Yeah I was considering the SD ones again, I have had 2 that I've lost because I forgot to take them off my keychain before going to the airport, TSA told me I could ship it home but I literally do not give the shots necessary to go through that so I just threw them away and eventually got the one I have, a cheap little folder from Amazon that I wouldn't mind throwing away again... Lol. Now I have a separate set of travel keys I take so no need to worry about losing the stuff on my normal keychain. -

Just FYI there's actually multiple brands that produce Swiss army knives, it's not a brand in itself AFAIK. The most famous and original one that created the SAK is Victorinox, who sell "Genuine SAK" brand, Wenger sells "Original SAK" brand. Be sure if you get a SAK that it's from a good brand because many shitty brands try to take advantage of the fact that Swiss Army is famous in the way a brand is due to the quality of the associates products, but anyone can call their knife a Swiss Army knife. I ended up buying a Victorinox. -
2019-10-02 at 4:51 PM UTCI’ve been carrying byrd knives for a few years now. They are made by spyderco. Cheaper,but still a good blade and handle. Don’t worry as much about losing it as much as my spyderco.
I don’t know if they make a key chain version,but that’s not a proper knife. -
