No one had to murder him. they just got into his head. Someone probably laced his food with something that made him angst and then filled his head that "If it were me, Jeff.. I would just kill myself. because the outside is going to humiliate you, the inmates will taunt you and eventually stab you on a regular basis, and eventually you will die a broken down person in this shithole that will seem like eternity.
