You will still have to pay property taxes (in most places). What will you do for utilities? You mentioned the taxes associated with your utilities, not directly with your property, so you’ll still have the same issue if you want to maintain any kind of civilized lifestyle.

In many states you can homestead your property and avoid property taxes.

If you don't want the storm drains to be maintained then I suppose that could be arranged, but it might be easier if you just moved to Somalia, where all the other libertarians went to after Ron Paul's failed 2012 run for President.

You're not paying for the rain you are paying for the drainage system. It's all part of being a part of society.

That's what I want to do. Here's the problem though: You still have to pay property tax on the land

Boring thread from a boring, OLD poster. That probably has bisexual tendencies and types out his posts, single-handedly, while fingering his squirming, contracting rectum. and going ''OooooOOhh." "OooOOOOoOOOOHH".

    That's probably what he does.

I have to pay taxes on the interest gained on my CD and savings, but I got them in the first place to avoid loss via inflation.

My CD is accruing at 3.10% apy and inflation is at 2%, so after taxes, I'm thinking I will only have not lost purchasing power.

My savings account is ay like 2.4% apy. So I think I'll actually lose out on purchasing power.

I'd snap if it weren't for all these tax free freebies from my lifestyle.
