Anybody have experience with this? Especially when it comes to owning a cactus and extracting it from that.
Think it's underrated and it's practically only one bromine atom away from being 2C-B.
My only bad experience with it was that I thought it would be a good idea to mix lemon juice with a solution of its HCl salt to make it more drinkable. (It didn't) So it was practically like drinking the most sour stomach acid and it gave me some ungodly diarrhoea. Other than that it was pretty pleasant.

i ordered a gram of mescaline from the darknet and ate the entire thing

it made my stomach hurt a lot, I puked so much but I was also higher than i've ever been in my life and talking to spirits. I learned from that trip you are supposed to fast for a week before taking it

It felt like I was puking up all the evil in my body and becoming purified, it was very painful

I wonder if you got it from the same guy haha. Mind you, I got it years ago and I've been keeping it around for special occasions i.e. a couple of weeks ago. At most I'd say I've had light doses as indicated by Erowid's dose chart - Nothing too crazy. Would take it on an empty stomach and might have a nice salad or some snacks if I'm feeling a bit hungry.

I'd much rather not deal with darknets anymore since it can be a bit of a hassle so that's why I'm looking into cacti.

I think the vendor was named Grimlock or some shit and I remember it came from a really weird place like New Zealand or something and it took forever to get to me.

I've only done it from San Pedro. Didn't effect my stomach very much.

If you want to grow its advised you stress out the plant. Cold/dark/not a lot of water will cause it to produce more mescaline as defense mechanism. The same is true for many plants with desirable defense/propagation mechanisms such as hot peppers or apple trees, where the early years of stress cause it to produce bigger and sweeter/spicier fruits. This is the same reason people prune.

A lot of people fuck up their san pedro by trying to make it happy with water/sun but you need a stressed plant if you want the highest amount of mescaline.

Were you growing it by any chance? If so, what was it's rate of growth like? Heard it was relatively fast and you could just chop off however much you wanted.
Did you go for the ol' blend it and boil it/strain the juice method? From what I understand it's the green parts besides from the skin that's the desirable part.

I have a friend who grew several plants and would chop and freeze off 6inch cuttings every so often until the cacti all got rot and died.

His seemed to grow pretty fast. I hesitate to put a number on it, but there was a definite difference between when it was indoors vs outside in the sun all day. I think the idea is that a happy plant will grow faster, while a stressed plant spends more energy on producing mescaline. No sense growing when conditions aren't good. I imagine this effect is less so with smaller cacti like peyote, which don't grow anywhere near as fast. I'm really not sure what is an ideal growth rate for san pedro but it can grow over a foot per year in 'good conditions'.

I only tried it once and we cut off the skin and blended it, then strained. Tasted ok, not as bad as I thought but I have a strong stomach for these things. I think it had far too much sunlight (was outside in CA sun for years) because everyone drank about a foot worth and it was a very light trip. Not very visual but still fun as hell. Spent the whole night stargazing and collecting firewood with a headlamp. Some people trip quite hard off of a foot tho.

I wish we had weighed it. Obviously circumference needs to be taken into account, but almost all reports i read online only mention length, and it makes it difficult to gauge your dose. Which, I really don't like doing with psychedelics.

I have experience with Escaline as well so I knew the general sort of feel to expect. Mescaline is really the only psychedelic i have any interest in exploring anymore. There's something about that universal wonder comforting feeling that makes it special compared to other psychs.

Planning to grow san pedro of my own some day though. I have seeds that have been chilling in a drawer for years.

I don't understand why people say this. You can get BTC in less than five minutes using something like Coinbase and then its just a matter of tumbling and sending it to your DNM wallet. All the market links are easily found on Google and/or dark.fail.

It's totally worth it for the accessibility and deals you can get. It seems way less intimidating once you receive that first order and realize how easy it is.

I currently prefer to pay for the convenience of not having to do so but I think I want to get into some mycology soon.

Also I rememeber when I was a teenager I went to the gardening section at Lowe's and read all the labels on the cacti trying to find a San Pedro. They didn't have any.

For sure. I've done so in the past.

It's pretty easy. You just need to keep things clean.

San Pedro grows wild in some of the parks here. I've grown it for years. I think people should probably look at bolivian torch though if they want mescaline.

Why Bolivian torch? Afaik they have similar mescaline content and don't grow as fast as s pedro
