Exodus 22:21 “Do not mistreat or oppress a foreigner, for you were foreigners in Egypt."
Nah forget that let's lock them up. No showers. Children away from parents. If you get sick you can just die. I doubt anyone had their papers in order when they crossed the red sea. (not that this ever happened, but Christians believe it did.)Psalm 127:3-5 "Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court."
Children are sacred but only the legal ones. Illegal ones we can lock up away from their parents in conditions worse than actual prisons for people who have actually been convicted of a crime. Clearly says this right here in the bible.Peter 2:18- "Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not only to those who are good and equitable but also to those who are perverse."
Exodus 21:7-8 "When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again."
Numbers 31:15-18 "And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive? Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD. Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves"
Isaiah 13:13-19 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land. Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it. Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children. And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah
Matthew 10:34-37
Oh look, slavery is condoned. As is a bunch of other absolutely abominable stuff. Now what's all that shit people say about Islam again? Something about supporting religious crusades... -

Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
Okay, abortion bad.Numbers 5:11-22 "Then the Lord said to Moses, 12 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘If a man’s wife goes astray and is unfaithful to him 13 so that another man has sexual relations with her, and this is hidden from her husband and her impurity is undetected (since there is no witness against her and she has not been caught in the act), 14 and if feelings of jealousy come over her husband and he suspects his wife and she is impure—or if he is jealous and suspects her even though she is not impure— 15 then he is to take his wife to the priest. He must also take an offering of a tenth of an ephah[a] of barley flour on her behalf. He must not pour olive oil on it or put incense on it, because it is a grain offering for jealousy, a reminder-offering to draw attention to wrongdoing.
16 “‘The priest shall bring her and have her stand before the Lord. 17 Then he shall take some holy water in a clay jar and put some dust from the tabernacle floor into the water. 18 After the priest has had the woman stand before the Lord, he shall loosen her hair and place in her hands the reminder-offering, the grain offering for jealousy, while he himself holds the bitter water that brings a curse. 19 Then the priest shall put the woman under oath and say to her, “If no other man has had sexual relations with you and you have not gone astray and become impure while married to your husband, may this bitter water that brings a curse not harm you. 20 But if you have gone astray while married to your husband and you have made yourself impure by having sexual relations with a man other than your husband”— 21 here the priest is to put the woman under this curse—“may the Lord cause you to become a curse among your people when he makes your womb miscarry and your abdomen swell. 22 May this water that brings a curse enter your body so that your abdomen swells or your womb miscarries.”
Abortion sometimes okay? -
2019-07-13 at 4:22 PM UTCWhy should my hard earned tax dollars go towards welfare? Those people should just work harder and get better jobs.
James 21:14-18 What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
Proverbs 28:27 Whoever gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse.
John 31:17-18 But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. -
2019-07-13 at 4:24 PM UTCMaybe I should start bringing up the apocryphal texts next. There's a lot of juicy shit in there that Christians have decided to cut out ever since ghost Jesus came out of his cave.

2019-07-13 at 4:40 PM UTCI don't hate people who are religious, I just hate the people who are too stupid to cherry pick and make their own choices about religion and spirituality. The bible has some great messages. It would be amazing if people chose to follow the right parts and actually tried to be the generous, loving humans that Jesus wants you to be.
Instead, most Christians in America subscribe to a corporate doctrine vaguely disguised by religion. At least in the middle east they dont pretend to have separation of church and state, and they actually DO adhere to the rules they say they're supposed to. Which is admirable in a way.
Thankfully most Christians do not blindly and strictly follow the bible, or we'd be a lot more like the middle east. -

Tell me, how are the "libs" hypocrites? I would like cited sources for what they claim to believe in, but don't do in practice.
Without this your entire argument is useless. I have already proven with just a few quotes that right wing 'Christians' are hypocrites. Where is your evidence, Bill Krozby? -

He is too lazy to find any evidence. -

2019-07-13 at 7:30 PM UTCThousands of Americans are separated from their children every single day, after the parent decides to commit a crime. Shit, if you even drive drunk and you have your kids in the car you'll be separated from them, you'll be taken to jail, and your kids will be sent to Child Protective Services. What makes migrant parents and their children so special? Skip the line and get special treatment, while others have to wait years to go through the system? What makes the line skippers so important?

Because the conditions they are kept in are deplorable and people are not getting their due process of law due to massive underfunding.
I am okay with the detention centers. Everyone is. Its the conditions which are the obvious problem. This is inhumane. Nobody should be waiting months or years locked up for a judge to determine whether they're going to be deported or just fucking released. People with green cards have been locked up. People die due to lack of medical care. Apparently there's no showers in some of them either. These places are well above capacity.
You don't treat humans like this no matter what. Right to a fair trial applies to all within American borders, not just citizens. Also there's no reason to seperate families. Europe isn't separating refugee families in their detention centers. They get a fair and quick process and are deported quickly once in custody.
Whats going on now is objectively illegal. There have already been people arrested for it. We shouldn't be keeping anyone custody if we can't give them humane conditions to live in. -

Democrats are holding up the funding and the resources to help with the overcrowding and conditions and refuse to hand over a penny. Have you contacted Pelosi and Schumer about it? -

mistranslated. Slave = Servant. and you're bouncing between old Torah and the days of Christ.
Jesus rebuked some of the jedi Laws. like hostile ones such as "An eye for an eye" and Jesus says if a man hits you on the chin, turn the other cheek.
Although he did say "not only if you commit lust acts out of wedlock be a sin, but if you even think of it"
but we all sin. and Servants will serve the masters diligently (Be a good worker) for you will be a Master in Heaven (A Boss). and this may not be of the boss' but rather angels will be servants. a different being. whatever that entails. -

Not mistranslated. That is from the King James bible which was published in the early 1600s. The NKJ version didn't come out until 1983. Theres a 1789 edition that was popular for a long time as well.
Christians continually change their texts. At least jedis and Muslims adhere to the originals.
