tldr: FBI submitted 4chan posts they'd made as evidence without redacting their tripcode, channers searched that tripcode and found all the other insane stuff they've posted over the years -

Well the real 4chan and imageboard culture died in 2008 once people who weren't "weeaboos" started overtaking the place.
Suddenly the very people who founded the website were being ostracized by cocksuckers who didn't even understand what the website was for in the first place and now we're here in the future where it's completely dead and being used as a BBS for the FBI and mainstream media ...
It really really saddens me, 4chan used to be a really unique and interesting place full of really cool people and ideas.
