I doubt they’re going to call a special session. They’re just going to put everyone at risk. Cosmetologists I believe are also at risk of deregulation.
i dont see how the cosmetologist would be at risk, just the people getting their hair / makeup done.. lol
anyways I'm still trying to get this job, but I just a got job a few min ago as a cook. I told them I will let them know asap when I need to start this plumbing job if it actually works out. -

2019-05-29 at 8:46 PM UTCI sort of doubt you have the worth ethic to make it in the skilled trade, Doug. I could see you as a labourer though.

its being a plumbing asst so that is a labourer you tard, plus you never know if you don't go, so let it all flow.
I've been a nursing asst, a bar back, and a pizza maker. I've always been a blue collar -

All plumbers assistants work towards becoming plumbers. Generally an apprenticeship board will kick you out if you're not making any progress towards that goal. But I'm betting you get fired before it comes to that. -

nah my friend did it for his gf's dad when he was 18 and he's a total dumbass, pretty sure I could do it if I'm willing to put forth the effort and not show up drunk. a lot of people are actually willing to give me a chance because they like me.
plus if you read the earlier post in this thread theres not going to be boards. and a lot of plumbers own their own biz so they call the shots. quit being so negative, everyone else but you in this thread is rooting for me (no pun intended, chicken) -

I like you too, I just dont see this working out unless you somehow become a different person. Don't fake offense, some people just aren't cut out for this type of work - especially people who can't handle a little ball busting. Good luck telling your plumber boss to be less negative when he's firing your ass for showing up late and drunk. -

Licenses are just a way for the state to gather information, if they guaranteed quality why are their so many shit drivers? Networks of trust are betters indicators of quality than a paper that says the state won't fuck with you if you pay them. -
2019-05-29 at 9:37 PM UTCResidential plumbing is easy af tho, pex is literal childs play and any retard can use a sharkbite.

Sounds like not much will change. Basically the plumber's licensing board is gone soon and licensing will be done by a different agency, not gone if I read correctly.
Yeah, my old roommate was going to school for plumbing after already getting an HVAC degree. He said it was hard. I wouldn't go for plumbing outright unless your heart is set on it. It takes a lot of time and money to commit to doing that and it's fairly complicated. Going ahead with the assistant gig would be fine though if your into it. -
2019-05-29 at 10:13 PM UTCBill Krozby how do you keep getting jobs after going through like 6 a year every year?

yeah thats what I'm thinking, I'm already looking into it online as we speak. I've even thought about hvac but thats got to be gnarly work in the summer.
with anything you gotta dip your webbed feet in (my brother has webbed feet lol) and if the money is good then why not? the gont in the video i posted was a fuck up not because he wasn't knowledgeable but he listened to the idiot land lord that didn't want to shut down the water in the building as it cost money to do that. And I get that but there were several times where I went out butt naked with shampooy hair and started screaming at the maintenence guy to turn it back on as i had to get ready for work -
2019-05-29 at 10:20 PM UTClol yeah diet just read your post about hvac seems hard.

I don't do that every year just like 2018. I get jobs because I have a charming personality and I'm not a fat ass and can move quick. I actually regret leaving a couple jobs last year and wish I had stuck it out. I was a bar back and expo gont at this resteraunt downtown but I showed up drunk and was like fuck it. I should of kept it because I got free booze and a lot of tips.
I had another job downtown that was my favorite job ever, and I made the most from that but I got fired for sexual harassment of a fat dude and im not even gay, I just said I'd kill him and called him faggot on my day off when he kept calling me. So i guess i created a hostile work enviroment but that job wasnt substaniable for anyone there, everyone got fire for some reason. It was weird hours too. I didn't sleep for 9 months
I used to work for the state when I was 18 but I was 18 and fucked stuff up really bad for myself, If I had stuck with it I could probably be retired in 15 years.
I just have an abrasive attitude sometimes I've been working on it thats why I want some good gonts and some money backing me to open a kro stand.
The job I got hired at today hired me because they have hired me before and I know the people that work there in my hood but didn't work there at the time because I was at a lot better job. I actually had money saved instead of living like this, its pretty stressful, i just need to find the right thing for me. I just really don't like working with a lot of people and when they accuse me of fucking up when their the ones that fucked up. -
2019-05-29 at 10:27 PM UTCim a rageoholic but I've been working on that. I lost my last job because of my accident and could barely move my arm and looked pretty grotesque and they had to hire someone else. It really sucks and made me feel really depressed and upset but I feel a lot better now.
I was talking with one of the bromos about doing something like renting out candy machines and its possible but that takes a different kind of work in it self but its something to learn. -

yea but those that deals with fresh waters are still clean plumbers, and those that deals with waste waters are dirty plumbers. -
