    I actually do consider myself to be agnostic, but history seems to make it abundantly clear that if there is a god, he really doesn't care what we do to each other.

    maybe he's like a shit absentee father - has been down at the pub for the last few thousand years, but he'll get home eventually and we're going to fucking get it when he sees what we've done to the house

    he doesn't interfere with the affairs of mortals because why would he? According to the bible the last time he did that he flooded the earth and killed everyone.

    I respect your opinion. But let me ask you this... say a person possesses schizophrenia. If God is not responsible for that... then who or what is? Surely you can't place the blame for that on the individual...no?

    It's a genetic flaw, simply a result of our mortality and flawed DNA. All life doesn't need to be perfect, according to what we know about the universe so far life is extremely rare. The universe seems to oppose carbon based life, we are nothing but fragile specks of dust compared to the greater cosmos and beyond.

    I dont, out of concern for the people that love me... also I'm deathly afraid of botching the suicide and maiming myself. My biological father would...Jig probably wouldn't know what happened until it's too late...and wouldn't know where to find me.

    Look at how we act. The bullshit we choose to eat and drink. The bullshit stress we put each other through. The chemicals we consume for fun. The dumb ass decisions we make. We've been trying our best to ruin God's genetic template for as long as we've walked this earth.
