   there was something so magical about those times
   the way technology was, the way pop culture was (darude sandstorm type music and spencers gifts aesthetics).
   The 2010s have been so soulless, the only remotely interesting development has been the whole Yung Lean/Sadboys thing and Chillwave.
   You have lots of kids these days trying to create interesting things, but it's fake and gay, it lacks the charm and soul that 90s/00s techno-futurism had.

   if I get the mac mini instead of an iMac I'm going to get a 4:3 LCD monitor and move my HDTV to the living room then have only 00s era aesthetics and technology in my bedroom.
   I have a CRT tv my friend gave me a few months ago so I'll use that for watching video/playing games and as for music I'll stick to cds and vinyl.
   It helps too that the town I'm living in looks like it's stuck in the early/mid 00s.

   if I didn't have a need for modern software for video editing and music production then I would unironically stick to dated hardawre.
   I still have my copy of Windows XP my mom bought in 2003.

    It had like 512mb of ram and a 50gb hard drive … that's what I was using to browse TOTSE back in the day …

    Looking through settings on Gmod, I found the custom spray section. I set up my custom spray many years ago on CS:S, and I guess at some point they put that shit in a cloud or something. My old spray was penis bird.

    its not easy then to try to pack everything you've downloaded into a 1.44mb floppy you has to make hard choices and we thought the problem would go away in the future when storage technology advances
