Can anyone else tell someone's a woman online just by the way they type?

I've always been able to do this. I'm not talking about dumb instagram sluts who type like thisss. xx :)

I'm talking about normal adult women who type on forums and shit. I can't point out specifically how they type differently, but the best way to explain it is that they always have a bunch of unnecessary shit in their sentences -- words that don't have to be there. They'll also always type in a very weak, unconfident way. I just want to reach through the screen and punch them in their fucking whore face.

When I was 12/13y/o I would pretend to be a girl on MSN and lure pedos.

80%. I'm also pretty accurate with alt accounts. They don't even have to post sometimes. I know Unstable Matter before he posts a word every single time.

I don't know. There's a few things that come off as very feminine in internet posting style, qualities you almost never see in ostensibly male posters, but then it's fundamentally difficult to say what the false negative rate is. I very rarely see guys try to "compromise" online, things are right or wrong and while they can be very civil about it I'm not sure I've ever seen a dude be like "maybe we're both right" or stuff like that (perhaps tellingly compromise just to avoid disagreement or some idea that meeting half way is always better really irks me when I see it, online or off) but then I've seen exceptions (women who don't post like that, not men who do as far as I've seen)

usually yes, it's mostly unconscious though so I'm not sure exactly what it is that gives it away.

thinking about it now, writing I deem as feminent is usually more descriptive and specifically more subjectively so - as in the writer describes what they think about an object more than it's actual properties

Just goes to show the extent of how much women are detached from reality, top lol.

I came across a program that does distinguish different types of grammar and words being used. I most likely have a link on my desktop PC but I'm out right now. I don't know if it was able to tell just male and female apart, but it could tell if someone was someone else.
