Neither, it was like I'd never had a drink in my life. Stopped on the 29th September 2017 and not had or wanted/craved a drop since.

EDIT: I guess the doc telling me I was going to die if I kept on was all I needed to switch that light off.

That's great. You had the discipline and willpower to accept the severity of the situation and act upon it

Thats incredible, to me... I'm thankful it wasn't a struggle for you...and that the transition apparently was quite easy and simple.

So then would you have classified yourself as an addict? or just a heavy drinker?

Heavy drinker...I really don't think I'm an addictive type...I did the same thing with coffee too, went from 2 POTS a day to 1 cup...that didn't bother me either.

My system must be so depressed it doesn't get excited by any drug...only the love of a good woman.

The only drugs I need is the love of a woman, the laughter of a child, the gentle breeze in my face, the gratitude of an old person when I help them across the street, the comforted look of a soul in pain when I reach out and soothe...ET CERTERA...ET CETERA!!!

Nobody said you need it, just do it once and don't get addicted. Don't be a coward.

I have no need or want...A coward is someone who bows to peer pressure, I'm my own man young nigga and cannot be swayed by such juvenile goading...begone faggit before I show you the back of my hand in close quarters.

It's not peer pressure, you are just missing out on life experiences. How can you say you've lived life if you never snorted an illegal drug? These are sacred substances provided by the creator and you scoff at his wonderful gifts.

Lots of people do hard drugs like once every few years. I have maybe only done a few grams of heroin in my entire life and it was an amazing experience each time. It's better if you don't do it all the time because you have a low tolerance and get way more fucked up.

You're just making excuses because you're too scared to conduct in illegal activity.

I've been thinking about a road trip to Houston. Let's get together for a few beers!

Drinking yes...but then I'd have had fun without the drink too.

Weed didn't affect me...they'd all be giggly and shit and I'd be the same as before I smoked/ate it. Waste of $$, time and effort.

If you feel you need drugs to have fun with people you are simply confirming the fact you're a soul in pain...who doubts their worth around others.

...I'm here when you need a gentle touching of your soul...

I spend most of my time sober with my girlfriend and I don't really have friends but when I do get a gram of meth I like to get people high that have never done it before. They are usually to afraid to even try a small dose though and they think i'm evil.

It's not a case of being afraid, it's a case of not being dumb.

Substances affect everyone different. The majority of people at the least get the shakes if they don't get seizures. which are the two most common withdrawal symptoms
