   I just had an imagine of a town character becoming known for tipping his fedora at waitresses instead of tipping them, possibly with a wink, attempt at seductive look, or simple some emanation of self-aggrandizing; having the delusional belief that he's actually charming to them and they value this more than something of actual worth.
