If you go into the wysiwyg editor you need to click the button that has the broken chain as an icon to break the hyperlink. If that sounds like something out of star trek it's because we're in space.

Not being particularly interested in depression medications I do hear people talk a lot of shit on SSRIs but I looked up the side effects the other day and it's mostly stuff like nausea and the one month uptick in suicide rates? That doesn't seem that bad. Why do people talk about them like they're rat poison?

i wouldn't be surprised if the stuff you looked up has been doctored; lying about effects is something every industry does

Something worth considering but what actually are the effects of SSRIs and how do we know about them? There's a special issue with discovery here since most people able to report side effects are going to be mentally ill in some capacity. It's true you can be depressed without dreaming up side effects of medications but going on heresay of a handful of individuals taking these drugs seems like pretty weak evidence of anything. I have no horse in the race but I'd be interested if there were any rigorous studies to support the "SSRIs are satan" hypothesis.

SSRI's are way worse than meth and heroin because they are unpredictable. At least with other drugs you know the effects and its nothing new (peeking out windows, risky injections) but with SSRI's it's like okay I did a dose and drank 1 beer time to shoot up a school and kill myself.
