Why are people so triggered by the "moral obligation" thread?

It reminds me of how the rich will declare things moral or not moral, and people seem to actually go along with it.

    "A wall is an amorality"
"We have the most moral army in the world"

    Shit like that.

We need to fix our beaten-wife relationship with morality.

Beaten wife means that you get abused, then told it's your own fault.

"Look what you made me do".

The presupposition, that you aren't allowed to question, is that the beater is perfectly moral, therefore you can't question them.

Basically instead of listening to proposals of what is moral and not, like the congregation at church, we need an informed morality.

I don't thing doing without morality is for everyone realistic.

Because the meat question doesn't really matter. No one cares if you eat meat or not. I don't think even militant vegans really care. They are motivated by a desire for something else, maybe to adapt the world to suit them.
