    No you don't, it's totally legal and normal to criticize the Chinese government. That's why there's a credit system.

    Other things like organizing illegal protest and whatnot might get you arrested. Or being involved with a 'dangerous' group. Or broadcasting your thoughts to a wider audience. But you can say whatever you want in China technically. A lot of people do, and they don't get arrested. YouTube is full of people who have done it for years.

    Chinese people are actually really supportive of their government though, despite the common idea that they're all crying for democracy or whatever.
