I did shift rotation at one point in my career. I despised 3rd shift.

I am a day person. Up anywhere from 4 am-6 am and in bed about midnight. I stay busy at something -- I rarely nap unless I am not feeling well.

This pleurisy is hanging on and this is already the second week, but.ot hasn't turned into pneumonia this time, thank goodness?

I might be having a re-occurrence of it myself. I took antibiotics (it helped for my leg.. unrelated and seemed to clear up the sinus as well) I went for a walk.. steep hill. it helps open your lungs.. cough it out as best as you can. humidity is hard on it, but it's good to cough stuff out standing in the shower with the hot water running. maybe 5 minutes.. run a fan not facing you.. it will irritate you but it will help dry the air which is usually good for pleurisy and asthma symptoms.

I have to have the car AC running but it makes me cough up shit. Maybe someone is poisoning me. They put rat poisoning shit in Ted Gunderson's air vent and he saw specs of it on his seat and it tested positive. his fingers turned black around the time of his death.. his doctor said it showed arsenic poisoning.

special circumstance.. instant death penalty if they ever found out who did it.. so this so called "Tribunal" is needed.

Does it feel like a stabbing pain in your lungs and back muscle or sternum area? like a sharp pierce momentarily everytime you breath or every other time.. every third..etc? that sucks pretty bad.

So then why not Flovent or some other corticosteroid inhaler to reduce the inflammation which causes atalectis (Pancake lungs) or some shit. I went to a pulminologist specialist. one of the best in the USA (He just practiced at my hospital-- I didn't seek the specialist so I was blessed for that)

you should try the corticosteroid type inhaler. Advair is scarey. I took it and I was hyperventilating it speeded me out so much. they pulled it from the market from what I heard but I believe

I have 3 other inhalers, besides the Albuterol & Albuterol Sulfate, I use another corticosteroid: Trelegy.

Yes, the inflamation is the painful part. My pulmanologist calls that "squashed lung". Damage from inhalation of an allergen -- collapsed the lung and developed pneumonia. Now very susceptible to developing pneumonoia.

Well I know the feeling. I have experienced it multiple times. The fucked up thing is if you get pneumonia again and again, everytime it leaves scars in your lungs. which I think causes a form of fibrosis. take vitamins.. don't know if C helps but keep that window shut at night. open it up for 10 minutes for fresh air, run a fan and shut it.. use masking tape if you feel a breeze.

I forgot about this nugget of info the doctor told me (but it was over a decade ago)

just like when you have a panic attack, but for different reasons. you want to do 10 deep inhales if you can (in a row) and purse your lips blowing out.

And you're to blow up balloons. it works the lungs to help expand them. Deep breaths in and blow slowly out. Keeping your lungs inflated. it has to be a balance because if your lungs are inflamed and pneumonia might set it.. don't do it as much or don't do it until they calmed down a bit.

but ask your Doctor if this method is still believed to be the best option. it did help a bit.
