Since the era of ar and vr is coming about you no longer have to decorate your living space according to the placement of a TV.
Abd it got me to thinking about how I would decorate my home (if I had one ;_;) with that in mind
I thought of an area for placing a turntable and speakers, which would be my music area.
Another is some seats and a small couch around a fireplace.
Ah fuck it fuck the flesh net I'll just create my dream home in vr.
You know some of you might say that vr could be a tool of enslavement, and of course some people want to use it for control but for me, my entire life, I have always wanted to create my own reality and leave this one.
You might think of this as escapism but realize that just because we are bound to this universe physically that doesn't mean we should limit ourselves consciously.
With vr and someday full-immersion vr we will be able to create worlds and scenarios never before possible.
Sure it's easy to get upset at people of today dropping out of a productive heterosexual conservative lifestyle, but there will always be people who will continue that path and others who choose to follow their own.
So yes, there will be people becoming the little girl, throwing parties at their house watching anime together and having album listening parties.
You'll be out in the fleshnet at local town gatherings for oldsters who will bemoan the loss of a civilization to imaginary worlds etc but this is just the evolutionary path humanity is taking.
The next stage of the human species is to build yourself to a state of transhumanity, not in the sci-fi sense or nwo sense but one of personal evolution.
You will leave this universe behind and seed a new one of your own, holy separate and detached from this plane of existence.
This is how reality keeps itself functioning, self perpetuating.
Otherwise everyone will befall to themselves and lose interest in going forward.
