Pressure cookers my ass. I'm gonna make my own bomb making guide called "How to make a BOOMER in the garage of your foother" first get a plastic drum and fill it with gunpowder, ANFO, nails, nuclear waste, poison and roll it into a parade or large crowd.

    Gunpowder doesn't set ANFO off.

around the same time the US violates the ceasefire in Syria, killing 80+ soldiers and allowing ISIS to advance on the army 'by accident'.

    Curious, what was he referencing?

Semi, I simply speak my mind. It has nothing to do with a desire to convey a certain appearance, I genuinely think it was a shame that this turned out to be so underwhelming, it had much more potential. A large terrorist attack would also likely give Trump a considerable boost.

Because of this attack Russia has stated unambiguously that ISIS is a branch of the US military.

TPTB are probably stepping up the aggression because they know that their candidate is toast and they'll never get their war with Russia with Trump in office so they have to do it now.

At least that's a productive thought.

Who gives a fuck? Assad is a piece of shit no better than ISIS imo. He's used chemical weapons on his own people in the past (probably still is) and bombs indiscriminately, I mean Syria literally bombed its own fucking hospitals. The only reason we shouldn't totally usurp their whole government is because of Russia backing Syria. And besides, Russia recently bombed a UN convoy carrying supplies 'by accident' so I guess it's even now.

I don't know why you think this has ANYTHING to do with the bomber. He's just another loner bat-shit jihadist looking for salvation.

literally nothing in that post is true. don't believe everything that gets passed off as 'news'. I'll link you some data when I get home.

There's a reason Russia is backing Syria. The US are not the good guys in the middle east, they never have been.

I wonder if Russia were the ones who just bombed that "red cross convoy" headed into ISIS territory.

I'd never really thought about how these things happen; I was too young to really understand what happened to Yugoslavia but after seeing what the US did to Ukraine, I followed this rather closely.

He's used chemical weapons on his own people in the past (probably still is)
I suspect you're referring to what happened in Ghouta, which Obongo used as justification to start bombing. This was a nerve agent attack (Sarin I think) executed after Assad relinquished all of his chemical weapons stores... Even the UN inspection team on the ground reported that it was highly unlikely the attack came from the government, but it was buried. Further, samples from the gas attack were tested against samples of chemicals from Assad's stores - negative match, but the US refused to do any further investigation because Assad's samples were provided by Russia and were thus 'unreliable'.

The UN is now running a (laughable) report on the use of chemical weapons in Syria - they've focused on 9 attacks (even though over 300 have been reported, 200+ properly substantiated), and were only able to assign one of them to the Syrian army. Why? Because rebel 'witnesses' report that they saw a barrel being thrown out of a helicopter, and only the army has helicopters. Even though rebels have taken several well-stocked military airfields in the past.

Which ties into the last major chemical attack - a chlorine gas attack that again, rebel witnesses initially blamed on a helicopter - which completely undermined them, because it was a Russian medical helicopter with no weapons whatsoever. It turns out the chemical rounds were fired from a mortar by 'Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki', a 'moderate rebel group' backed by the US... Who still receive US funding and weapons to this day.

    and bombs indiscriminately,
This is a country that relies on military technology from the 70s, so it's beyond their capability to use 'precision' strikes. While I have no doubt that there have been large numbers of civilian casualties as a result of attacks on rebel terrorists, you have to keep in mind that this is not just a small-scale insurrection, it's a civil war that's beeing fuelled by the most powerful economy in the world. In many cases the weapons the US has given the rebels are more effective than what the military are issued.

Further, many of the reports of 'barrel bombs' are either sensationalised or outright fabricated. The US ambassador to Syria recently posted a video purportedly showing a 'barrel-bomb exploding in a crowded city' - it was actually a tunnel-bomb detonated by the rebels, and the tweet was quickly deleted once it was pointed out.

I mean Syria literally bombed its own fucking hospitals.
These reports are highly questionable as the majority come from the 'Syrian Civil Defense' groups, commonly known as White Helmets. These people are embedded within rebel-controlled areas and funded by the US to the tune of $40 million and have been caught blaming government or Russian forces for attacks that the rebels themselves have mounted.

I've actually read a few of the detailed Amnesty reports, and the information is patchy and highly inconsistent. Something interesting that comes up, though is that none of the aid workers seem to report being able to tell where the attacks came from - planes, mortar etc., but the 'rebels' have no problem spotting tactical bombers and their markings.

The only reason we shouldn't totally usurp their whole government is because of Russia backing Syria.
This is a good thing. How's Libya doing?

And besides, Russia recently bombed a UN convoy carrying supplies 'by accident' so I guess it's even now.
That convoy was deployed from a Syrian military depot and made its way to a rebel stronghold. The convoy was attacked within rebel-held territory. Russia followed the convoy with a drone and have provided unbroken video footage from the beginning of the journey up until its crossover into rebel territory, then broke off for fear of being shot down.

As pointed out by Russian media, look at the structure of the trucks - compare them to photos from any of the many other convoys destroyed by airstrikes... The trucks' frames are almost completely intact and there's no surface damage to the road nearby. They've been burned out, not destroyed with missiles.

The Syrian government have been the only ones who WANT a ceasefire; if you read about the negotiations you'll find that the rebel groups are almost universally against them and only view them as a chance to reorganise, rather than steps toward disarmament.
