    So bought a phone
    Called to unlock it
    They sent email with instructions
    Said to insert sim card
And follow prompts to enter unlock code
    No unlock prompt shows up
Phone starts like usual but will not prompt and does not work

Is ther2 a way to manually enter something for the prompt to show up?
    Help it's a Samsung s8

    Not promote ITS PROMPT

is the screen lit up? the 'prompt' might just be a blank screen where you enter the code

    It's the unlock code pin.

They said in them unlock email that once I put sim card in and turn on phone a prompt will pop up and i will be able to enter code to start using my phone

Prompt never pops up and phone turns on as usual but does not work
Sim card works in other phone but not my new one

No problem Bro...so you yelled at me a few times. I take nothing on here seriously. How can I hate you crazy Niggas...you're all so loveable. LMAO

    More advice.

Depending on which provider you're on SS may or may not add the KNOX feature as it does on Tabs...it's old software which doesn't mesh well with Android Version 7 if it's loaded. Has a tendency to lock without notice or make it impossible to remove info from the vault. Disable if possible or just don't use it. Most root the phone and remove all garbage without bricking it. Some SS phones allow only one SIM code unlock from original provider and if you try again with a new company it may lock itself where you need another SS-M code.

Also if you get the code from AT&T with an original phone it's one thing...yet ask why it's not unlocked if it's new. If you buy the unit from a phone dealer it may be unlocked or it may only be unlocked for certain providers where the frequency you want may be locked. So getting the wrong code can really fuck you up sometimes and the worse are Orascom ( Egypt ) mobile and Huawei ( Chinese ) phones. There are no back doors on Chinese phones...still I would worry more about back doors on mobile networks or using Chinese parts on military communication without stock piling during a war. Makes more sense using S Korean and Japanese parts or sticking to allies. North Korea on the other has a complete mobile system run by Orascom and Chinese phones and no one has any privacy. Lol.
