it's about archive.org who is supposed to be trusted with keeping transparency and protecting history and not fucking removing files because perhaps someone suggested they do so? or is it because someone is able to remove them by hacking? or is it a backdoor in the crawl? -
2018-08-26 at 3:07 AM UTCI've spent a significant amount of time researching the WayBack Machine archives for Totse.com, and I have discovered and doubly-confirmed that ALL threads and posts of Totse were archived and available to the public, and still are, EXCEPT the posts and threads in the few days leading up to 9/11, and the few days proceeding 9/11. That is a fact.

so this kind of suggest that Archive may have been told not to crawl those days?
All I know is I saw a Calendar for 2001 that May (16?) to September 26 is blank. no crawl on those days. no "snapshots" and then somewhere someone said "oh they had problems during that period" I can't remember where I came across that.
We should all walk into their office and ask them "Sup" say nothing else. Just "Sup" and stare at them like an angry Will Farrell. but kidding aside. Someone should contact them and ask why the fuck this is happening. maybe no one at the top knows.. someone who works their (volunteer or minimum wage employee was asked to remove them)
and they may have a backup server. hidden from another one that might have been tampered with. -
