Oh yeah...for sure. My mother hated the Serbs more than the Nazis.I expect all of North Italy will cheer for Croatia and especially near Fuime and Trieste. Some of my relatives are actually
crossing the border hoping for a win and who wants France to take the cup. -

Yeah, Italians are supporting Croatia. Well, I can't speak for all of them, obviously. lol
But that's what the mood seems from what I've observed. Not just in the final really. I watched 2 Croatia's games in a pub and people were cheering for them. On FB and the media here seems the same thing as well. -

North Italy has no real issues with Croatia as in many ways they feel united or historically connected. The border problem is still there...yet after Yugoslavia broke up tensions are pretty low. Only Lorenzo Capicolo will not support Croatia...so you're right. Lol. -
