Was well made and cohesive but not particularly terrifying. The scene with the kid was good but not any more scary than anything else ive seen. Hereditary still up there on the list even tho some scenes were kinda wonky.
Yeah not super scary. It was only scary to me because the very next day I was on the highway and this guy was walking not on the side of the road but on the other side of the white line in my lane. I swerved a tiny bit and honked.
I look in my rear view and I see him walking further into the lane like the middle of it. A ways down two card pulled over like they were in an accident and people trying to fix a car. Not sure if he wanted to kill himself or if he was on drugs.
But then a teen driver that was behind me when I was yielding to turn right wasn’t paying attention and rear ended me because he was so rattled from the guy in the road.
And after that I’ve seen like 8 more people walking in the road. And had really weird creepy dreams. So has the person who saw it with me.

It’s THAT time of year.
The Beast Within gets two thumbs down. Kit Harrington is hot and I’d let him rip me to shreds but this movie is a dud.
Thanksgiving is cheeky and gory so if that’s your thing have a seat at the table bc this year there will be…no leftovers. I give it a 5/10.

I’d give thanksgiving a 6, mayyybe a 7. Gore was unnecessary and distracted from what was good about the film, but I have a pretty high tolerance for gratuitous gore so I understand the 5.

I watched childsplay 1 and 2, some of the leprechaun and some of the puppet masters on tape back in 2008,
I always liked ghostship, more of a zombie horror fan or scifi more than anything.
Never really liked any of the jason films or freddy kreuger shit.

Is Thanksgiving based on Halloween?
I used to like Black Christmas... the one that was newish back in 2011. This girl got me watching it. I really just liked it because it kept Halloween going through the season but it had this gross, dirty Al Bundy vibe imo.

Whoops, totally forgot about this thread. So I've been watching some horror movies with a brotha of mine on the internet, we basically text each other while we watch the movie at the same time. We started with the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise and all that's left is the 2010 remake, before we move on to the Halloween franchise considering it's October.
