I used to have a favorite tree in the park. It was in the front center of the park and huge and had roots that sprawled out over the ground everywhere. I spent a lot of time watching it, especially while tripping or high or just while going jogging. Sometimes cats would climb in it. Now it's gone because the city took it out because there was some soil fungus or some shit.
that sucks man I have a couple favorite trees myself here in my hood. I'm a total tree hugger.
here in austin we had this one tree that some guy poisoned because he was an insane prick. the tree could tell a story with rich detail. they call it "treaty oak" because native americans would meet with stephen f austin the president of texas to smoke weed and sign treaties, thus treaty oak.
