but My Dad was born in Compton and raised there in the 30s until they moved to pearl city, Oahu in 1940. there during the Japanese raid on the island in 41.
Compton wasn't always ghetto.. it was an art/bohemian and farm community during the post modern days. Put that in your Gazette -
2018-05-28 at 7:40 PM UTCA lot of today's urban California was once a very pretty scenic place. If you watch the movie It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, most of the car chase scenes go across an undeveloped California that has since been turned to ghetto. That's one of my favorite movies, party because of how beuatiful and colorful everything is.

I feel that way too.. they only have a 100 year moratorium on park land. people think it's forever.. but one day, there will be no parkland left.. or just a few acres here and there.
I love looking at old California and thinking "Damn, they should of built Up and not out" but every mother fucker wants a house and yard instead of living in a pretty pimped out condo with a deck and then have an actual greenbelt or desert belt or whatever to enjoy with others as community share or at times, by themselves if they get up early enough.
