Most people are in denial about death, but I'm not.

I think about death almost 24/7. I know I'm going to die. I know how fleeting the experience of life is.

And yet I do nothing with it. I just sit in my room. What is there to even do though? What the fuck should I be doing?

Life is what you make it. What do you enjoy doing?

Whenever I feel really shitty, I just look in the mirror and say, "oh well, at least i'm not tacho".

I think about death 24/7 as well. I just wonder if i will get to my handgun in time or if it will be me that goes down

    Or both

Or will it be by my own hand?

I had an extremely (seemingly) realistic dream about death a couple weeks ago

I think about what it would be like to have surgery in space.

I don't know what I like. This planet has so many things apparently, what should I do. What should I do before I die and I can never return back to this planet ever again?

I don't know most people, but I doubt most people are in denial about death. I doubt hardly anyone is in denial about death, unless they do not have the mental capacity to understand what death is. Most people are aware they are going to die one day. Death has a 100% success rate. You seem obsessive over it for some reason.

There are plenty of things to do in life. If you don't see anything to do while sitting in your room, at least go sit outside. You'll get more out of it just by changing the scenery.

Most people really are in denial about death. They'll think about it every once in a while of course, but they'll never come to terms with the fact that they themselves one day will die. Listen to the 9-1-1 calls on 9/11. "We're not supposed to be dying now. We're supposed to be dying as old men in our beds." No, you're supposed to be dying now, because death can happen at any moment... it's not some far away fantasy that'll happen to you when you're a senile old man.

Actually, I would wager that you too, Ajax, are in denial that one day you will actually be dead.

obsessed that I'm going to face eternal nothingness... "for some reason"

Go visit space and experience zero gravity and artificial gravity.

    Space horrifies me.

The more days I live, the more alan watts' shit makes sense to me. But like most things, his fans are pieces of shit.

What is dying from "old age" anyways? That's not really a cause of death. I can see complications from having failing organs and a crib leg bag, or cancer or a stroke.

But we have really good medical technology nowadays. I'm pretty sure when I'm 40+ y/o they will be able to just replace all my body parts with cloned ones like my liver, heart and lungs. I've known people that are in their late 60s and have a double lung transplant or survive cancer.

I know I can die but I think I might be able to live forever. I subscribe to the belief that humans want to live as long as possible.

The only ones that want to die are in pain.

The fact that I have things setup to take care
of things in the case of my death makes you lose the wager. What is my prize?

    Hahahahaha.

That has nothing to do with it. The fact that you have things set up PROVES you don't believe in death at all.

Don't you see, Ajax? There's nothing to setup after your death, because once you die that's it. There's nothing beyond that. That's the end of reality for you.

    Hahahahahaha.

Going only on logic; indulging in as much hedonism as you can.

My existential homie, I'm talking about estate planning, life insurance, things with beneficiaries, you feel?

U mad bro because you don't have anything to leave behind, no one to leave it to, and no one to miss you when you're gone?
  17. #17
I know what you're talking about. You still don't understand -- you're not leaving anything behind. There's nothing to plan, there's no point to your insurance, all of that doesn't matter once you're gone. You aren't computing what death really is. You are in...

    denial.

You're a very boring person if you have to ask this. Today Is my day off and I'm going to get drunk, and smoke a Cohiba cigar and say things to my cat like "nnnyaaa see" like a gangster from the 40's
